Climate Change Adaptation Program through the Integrated Management of Water Resources in Panama

At a time when climate change is affecting us, in many cases we are not prepared for climate-related risks. Investing in better preparation will pay dividends now and in the future of this nation.

Impacts of climate change have already been observed on agriculture, human health, ecosystems, oceans, water supplies and the livelihoods of populations. Our country does not escape these impacts and we can mitigate its vulnerability to the extent that we have a population that is aware of the risks of a changing climate, with periods of prolonged drought and abundant and continuous rains, with patterns different from the traditional ones.
